Nestled away in the laps of a serene and picturesque coffee plantation, ‘Welcome to Eorthe’ is a delicious concoction of tradition, luxury & homeliness. Our estate is located 10 kms from Madikeri town on the Mysore-Madikeri highway and about 300m from the entrance is The Perch, built to offer a unique holiday experience that will reanimate your body and mind.
The Perch is built on land enveloped by coffee plants, pepper vines, orange and guava trees and silver oaks. This treasure trove originally belonged to our paternal grandparents who earlier bought it from the late Charles Gordon Maclean back in 1940.
This provincial and bucolic beauty has been in able hands since then. We believe it is the work of the Universe that conspired to bring us back to ‘Eorthe’, a Greek term that was originally used to refer to Earth. We have now taken up the mantle and created The Perch, to share this piece of ‘Eorthe’ with the rest of the world to enjoy.

Perched among the trees overlooking the beautiful triptych valley, the cottage is themed to offer you a chance to connect with nature and delight your senses.
At Perch, we bring together various elements of our design philosophy: contemporary aesthetics, handcrafted interiors, exceptional comfort, thoughtful lighting, design and simplicity. The 2-bedroom cottage has a private garden looking into the coffee valley, fruit tress and hills.

Nischitha
Nischitha, a certified hotelier from the Florida Atlantic University is a multi-proficient woman who is passionate about food and cooking. She is a Mental Space Psychologist and a Therapist by profession. She even enjoys occasional singing and vlogs whenever time allows. She is the point of contact while booking and very welcomingly assist you in working out packages that will suit you best. She irrevocably devotes her time to prepare a delectable spread for her beloved guests that is tantalizing not just to the tastebuds, but also to the soul. Her humility will sweep you off your feet and her ardent desire to give you a heavenly feel at her abode will leave you reminiscing.
Deepak
Deepak, a hotelier and an advertising professional has worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years including the Taj Group of Hotels. He is also a personal Development Coach and motivational Coach. He is an occasional Vlogger (when time permits), an animal lover and an automobile enthusiast.

We are here to offer you a splendid opportunity to sink into the beauty and scenery exhibited by the misty Kodugu by taking a trek around the estate leaving you with some exotic memories etched in your travelogue. We offer a guided estate tour, as well.
